Attached is copy of Luminant's response to the EPA. In the Tuesday local newspaper, EPA officials said Luminant "leadership rushed to a decision that needlessly put their workers' jobs at risk". How bizarre is this when the EPA itself issued the mandate that is resulting in the closure of Monticello Generating and Mining. As a candidate, obama promised to bankrupt the coal companies and he has kept his word.
