Titus County Primary elections

Subject: Titus County Primary elections

Hello Friends,

The Republican Primary election will take place on March 6, 2012.  There will be a lot of interest in who is going to come out being the GOP nomination for U.S. President.  However, there is an equally big election on that day for Titus County too.

There are several elected positions up for election and I want you to seriously think about these.  You or someone you know may be the right person for the job.  Filing for these positions begins November 12 and ends December 12, 2011.

I want to change the following Democrat office holders to Republican.  Here is a list of the positions which will be coming up for election.

The office below file with the State  GOP or Democrat Parties.

S.B.O.E. -  Thomas Ratliff  (R)  Pending eligibility?
District Court #76 Judge  -  Danny Woodson  (R)
District Attorney  -  Chuck Bailey  (D)

The office below file with the Titus County  GOP or Democrat Chairman.

Sheriff  -  Tim Ingram  (D)
County Tax Assessor -  June Cook  (D)
Commissioner Pct #1  -  Don Boggs  (D)
Commissioner Pct #3  -  Philip Hinton  (D)
Constable Pct. #1, 3, 4  -  Chris Durant  (D)
Constable  Pct #2  -  Cleve Johnson  (D)

There are varying filing fees for each of these jobs.   Call me if you need that information.  The GOP Recruitment Committee will be meeting soon to interview candidates.  The compensation and benefits for these jobs are good for the right person.  Please call me if you are interested.  903-572-0653.

Sue Evenwel
Titus County Republican Party,
Chairman
