Beyond Impeachment: Obama Treasonous over Benghazi

Beyond Impeachment: Obama Treasonous over Benghazi

October 29, 2012 - 12:01 am - by Roger L Simon

Is it treason when you put your own reelection above the good of your country and the lives of its citizens? If so, Barack Obama committed treason in leaving the four Americans to die in Benghazi.

Our Constitution defines it this way: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

Aid and comfort to the enemy - what is that?

When you ascribe an action to the protest of a video when it is actuality a planned terror attack by Ansar al-Shariah, an established offshoot of al-Qaeda (if that's not your "enemy," then who) - and you knew that all along, you watched it live without doing anything, and then you told those who wanted to help to "stand down"? Meanwhile, our government may have been conspiring to arm another offshoot of al-Qaeda in Syria.

How much more treasonous can you get? Benedict Arnold was a piker.

Indeed, the discussion of Benghazi has just begun. And don't be surprised if the conversation escalates from impeachment to treason very quickly. In fact, if Obama wins reelection you can bet on it. The cries of treason will be unstoppable. Not even if the mainstream media will be able to deny them.

As Pat Caddell noted, those same media lapdogs have muzzled themselves in an unprecedented manner in this matter, but our Canadian friends at least have some semblance of honor left, writing: "It is undoubtedly worse than [that] Obama simply turned his back on cornered American citizens in a foreign land, knowing undoubtedly they would die. But that Barack did so without any compelling reason-except political-is beyond evil. Only a moral monster would have made that decision when it was within his powers to possibly save them with almost no effort of his own."

Moral monster? Those are extreme words but they fit an extreme situation and are appropriate to the use of the t-word. But it's worse. Many now are trying to figure out the motivation for this behavior - beyond the obvious electoral whoring mentioned above, the need to be seen in a certain manner at a certain moment to be sure the Ohio vote doesn't fall the wrong way.

But is there more than that? Is the treason yet greater? Were Obama and others covering up more than their ineptitude? Just what was Ambassador Stevens doing in Benghazi that day? Why had he left the Libyan capital to meet with the Turkish ambassador on the anniversary of September 11?

Rumors abound. According to Admiral Lyons writing in theWashington Times "...one of Stevens' main missions in Libya was to facilitate the transfer of much of Gadhafi's military equipment, including the deadly SA-7 - portable SAMs - to Islamists and other al Qaeda-affiliated groups fighting the Assad Regime in Syria." In an excellent article, Aaron Klein states that Stevens routinely used our Benghazi consulate (mission) to coordinate the Turkish, Saudi Arabian and Qatari governments' support for insurgencies throughout the Middle East. Further, according to Egyptian security sources, Stevens played a "central role in recruiting Islamic jihadists to fight the Assad Regime in Syria."

Lyons adds, citing a Clare Lopez article at RadicalIslam.org, "...that there were two large warehouse-type buildings associated with our Benghazi mission. During the terrorist attack, the warehouses were probably looted. We do not know what was there and if it was being administrated by our two former Navy SEALs and the CIA operatives who were in Benghazi. Nonetheless, the equipment was going to hardline jihadis."

Do we know that for sure? I certainly don't, although on the face of it sounds like a "Fast & Furious" scandal on a global scale with extraordinary geopolitical implications. But I imagine there are those who do know the truth, or a lot of it, considering the events were being watched in real time.

None of this, of course, exonerates our government in not giving support to our four now dead men in the field.

Many questions remain to be answered. But I do not think I am being excessive in raising the treason accusation. I would be pleased to withdraw it if proven wrong.

Update from the Titus HQ

Good Morning.

This is just a quick note to let you know what is happening at the Titus GOP HQ this week. It is a busy schedule as we head into the last week before early elections begin.

1.  More yard signs, bumper stickers, lapel pins and campaign buttons are in!
     *  The bumper stickers are ovals in 2 great designs.  Each are $1.
     *  The lapel pins that are considered pieces of jewelry.  We only have a few.
They are similar to the pieces worn by the campaign staff.  They are $15.
     *  Campaign buttons are keepsakes especially for collectors.  Bumper stickers and yard
signs get thrown, away but buttons get kept in jewelry boxes and handed down to the
         grandkids.  LOL
     *  We are on the second order of yard signs.  Make sure you get one to decorate your
yard.  They are available for a donation.

2.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 16,  there are 2 events at the HQ.
     *  From 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM we are hosting a Pre-Debate Reception for
Congressman Ralph Hall.  He will not lose this election but, someone from Houston
will be spending tons of money in negative ads.  He has been
so good to us.  This grassroots event will help him raise some needed money
to respond to these attack ads
      * The Debate Watch Party will be starting at 7:00 PM.  A dinner of Taco Soup and the
trimmings, dessert and beverage will be served for $5.00.  The Presidential debate
will start at 8:00 PM on our wide screen TV.  We always have a great time, so join us.

3.  Thursday, October 18 is Movie Nite at 7:00 PM. Dreams of my Real Father will be
shown.  Bring your own popcorn or snacks.  We have comfortable folding chairs, but you
may want to bring a comfy lawn chair with arms.

4.   HEADS-UP  -  Monday, October 22 is the first day of early voting.  We will be hosting
an early breakfast for those who get up early to vote.  Polls open at 8:00 AM at the
Election Adminstrators Office.  We will serve a continental breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30
      Stop by!

5.  Lastly I need for Poll Watchers for 2-hour stints at the local nursing homes.
     Tuesday, Oct 23  -  10 to Noon,        Wednesday, October 24 - 2 to 4,
     Thursday, October 25 - 10 to Noon,      Tuesday, October 30  -  2 - 4
PLUS 3 people, all day on election day  -  Tuesday, November 6, to guard against
voter fraud at the polls!  If you have the time and can help, please call me.  I can give
you all the information you need to do the job.

The momentum is really building for the Romney / Ryan team.  It is exciting to see the HQ so busy with so many new faces dropping by for signs and stickers.

See you ALL tomorrow night.  We need a good turn-out for Congressman Hall!

Friends,
When the weather turns cooler I start thinking about what I'm going to plant for my Spring garden. After a dead /brown looking winter, I love seeing those vibrant colors start popping out everywhere. Just as the trees start budding, the gardens come alive with all those yellows, purples, reds and pinks. I love it!!!

As you start thinking about what your gardens will look like, please take the time to go through our Flower Power catalog. Your purchases will help our local Titus County Republican Party grow, and add beauty to your home at the same time.

The bulbs are 100 % guaranteed, and come from the same people that do the 'Dutch Garden' Catalog. Your order should arrive by the end of October or during the first week of November.

Please click on the link, then click on the 'Shop Now' button to browse through the catalog. Campaign | Flower Power Fundraising

Thank you in advance for your support to our local efforts.

Pre debate reception for Ralph Hall

Ralph Hall Reception - Mt. Pleasant

Join us for a
Pre-Debate Reception
for Congressman Ralph Hall

We are so pleased to invite you to a grassroots fundraiser for our favorite
Congressman, Ralph Hall. I know this is 'short notice', but it is very important!

Ralph is not in danger of losing his seat, but there are some wealthy Democrats looking to viciously attack him over the radio, TV and print media during this election cycle.  Congressman Hall does not have a big 'War Chest' to respond to these attacks. He so frequently writes checks from his funds to help county chairmen and GOP auxiliaries with their expenses.  He has always been very generous with us, and the Republican Women of Northeast Texas.

We are asking the grassroots from all over northeast Texas to open their wallets and help him now.  I hope you can join us for this Pre-Debate Reception next Tuesday.  Ralph is looking forward to seeing you here at the Titus County Election Heaquarters

If you can't come, please drop off a contribution at the headquarters
Monday or Tuesday between 9:30 AM  and 4:00 PM, or put it in the mail.

Please pass this invitation to people on your email lists!

I'm looking forward to seeing a big crowd on Tuesday.  If you get a chance, please RSVP with a reply email.

Thank you,

This week at the GOP HQ

Hello Friends,

There are just 15 day before Early Voting begins in Titus County.  Here are a few things you may want to tell your friends about and attend.

1.  Tonight is the debate with the local Republican and Democrat candidates running for Commission in Pct. 1 & Pct. 3.  The debate will be at the Agricultural Extension Office on Industrial, beginning at 7:00 PM.  Make time to come whether you live in those precincts or not.  Both Republican candidates are ready to take on the excessive spending and 'Washington, DC' like budgeting going on in Titus County.  Everyone needs to give support to these two men.

2.  Thursday Night is the Vice Presidential Debate.  Join us at the HQ for a light dinner and lively conversation at 6:30.  This week the menu will be an assortment of submarine sandwiches, chips, dessert and beverage.  The cost is $5 a person.  Then at 8:00 PM we turn on C-Span and FOX (muted) and watch the debate.  A 'No Talking' rule goes into effect and worked very well last week.  Everyone was able to hear the whole debate without any problem.

3.  Next week 'Movie Nite" starts on Thursday, October 18.  The first movie will be Dreams of My Real Father.  This is a documentary on the relationship between Barack Obama and the radical communist Frank Marshall Davis, and why Davis is most probably Obama's father.

The HQ has been very busy with people dropping in from all over northeast Texas and beyond.  More bumper stickers and buttons will be here by Wednesday, and more T-Shirts by Friday.  Size medium will be in!!!   Yeah!!!!

See you tonight!

Unemployment defined

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America .

ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It's 9%.

COSTELLO: That's many people are out of work?

ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.

COSTELLO: You just said 9%.

ABBOTT: 9% Unemployed.

COSTELLO: Right 9% out of work.

ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.

COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16% unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, that's 9%…

COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE.

Is it 9% or 16%?

ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.

COSTELLO: IF you are out of work you are unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, Obama said you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed.

You have to look for work to be unemployed.

COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!

ABBOTT: No, you miss his point.

COSTELLO: What point?

ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work, can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair.

COSTELLO: To whom?

ABBOTT: The unemployed.

COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.

ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. Those who are out of work gave up looking and if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.

COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment roles, that would count as less unemployment?

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!

COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?

ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That's how Obama gets it to 9%.

Otherwise it would be 16%. He doesn't want you to read about 16% unemployment.

COSTELLO: That would be tough on his reelection.

ABBOTT: Absolutely.

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

ABBOTT: Correct.

COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo.

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to have Obama's supporters stop looking for work.

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like the Obama Economy Czar.

COSTELLO: I don't even know what the hell I just said!

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like Obama.

You can lead liberals to the truth,

but you can't make them THINK !
